Update on PippinVR: GPLv3 (Open source) MacOS virtual screen streamer to Meta Quest. — A bit ago, I posted about PippinVR, an open-source (GPLv3) macOS virtual screen streamer on the Meta Quest. Here are a few updates: \- It has now been updated to support more than 3 screens (I have not found a limit, but I run 5 screens). \- I bought an Apple Developer license to distribute the installer (under releases on GitHub). Of course, you don't need to know/care because PippinVR is FREE FOREVER! I have made some other refinements and tweaks here and there as well. Let me know what you think! Help with account recovery please. — Hi, my username is Tripzz. My entire pc was hacked back in like 2024 and ever couple of months I would try to submit a recovery form to get my genshin account back but no like. Some important context is that my friend originally bought the account as a starter to get me to play it. It has keqing and yae miko and no quests done. After that I grinned and whatnot. Anyways, I was thinking about my next submission, I was wanting to try something new with a Google doc with every single piece of info I had with reciepts, friends lists, characters, etc. I also linked a drive folder with any videos and pictures I could find of me in my account. What to do after blowout healed but now the hole is… closed? — I had posted on here about 3 days ago about a blowout I had and now that blowout is healed, however… the hole now looks closed like seriously like my body must’ve seen that hole as something to correct and it sealed it with I’m assuming flesh cause there’s a off-white “dot” in the hole. Google is telling me to go to a piercing studio so they can taper it through, I also have tapers.. could I possibly do this myself? Seasonality is getting interesting! September has historically been one of the weakest months for $QQQ & $SPY, while October & November have tended to be stronger. Today’s heavy sell-off into the close may partly reflect quarter-end institutional rebalancing as funds adjust portfolios at the end of Q3. But, high crude oil ($USO), elevated yields ($TLT) & geopolitical risks can still trigger a sharp selloff. Nonetheless, this is a window to start scaling in, but not going all-in due to the above risk mentioned. Keep cash available & add gradually. If the seasonal pattern plays out, great. Ly does not display thru dedicated GPU? — I recently swapped over to Arch after a few years of using Mint. I had to temporarily uninstall my dedicated GPU (Nvidia) during the installation due to weird compatibility issues with motherboard BIOS (which I got quite familiar with, as I had some boot issues). Everything worked fine thru the integrated GPU, but for some reason when I reinstalled the GPU, specifically Ly does not display anything. I can login blindly, and Sway will display normally. Is this a known issue with Ly or display managers in general? I'm not sure what steps to take.

Shader/Shadow issues in game? — Good evening. I have been trying to trouble shoot a shader problem with wow forever. I have just recently started playing the beta but I have no been able to enjoy any of the new shadows as my screen has been quite off-putting to look at. Is there anyone that has had this issues and resolved it? From my searches I believe it may be an issue with DX12, which when I swap to DX11 it basically just looks like regular classic which kind of defeats the purpose of getting this game, in my opinion. I have tried to delete the shader cache and this doesn't seem to have helped. Dell Precision 5550 Screen Freezing — I bought a used Dell precision 5550 with 32gb ram (not what originally shipped), 1tb ssd (not what originally shipped), i7-10850H, Intel UHD and NVIDIA Quadro T2000 (via Intel optimus, I believe). From time to time it happens that the screen completely freezes (including mouse and everything), however this only affects the screen, everything else (sound etc.) keeps running. To fix it I just have to close the screen and reopen it or use CTRL+WIN+Shift+B (No full reboot required). Usually it just freezes but it once had colourfull lines on the screen aswell and after I unfroze it it came back with colourfull lines again after just a few seconds, after unfreezing it again it went back to normal though. There also is no real pattern as it sometimes happens when I play games or just when watching Youtube meaning it happens with both GPUs. I let my CPU + GPU run at 100% for a minute and nothing froze so I don't suspect it to be stress related. My lap…

It's noisy, smelly, and just annoying for you guys I'm sure with all the maintenance and constant fill ups needed. 5% Treasury yields might matter for crypto more than another crypto headline — US 10-year Treasury yields are sitting around 5.2%, near levels not seen since 2007, while the dollar has also had a strong September. I think this is one of those periods where watching only crypto news gives you half the picture. If investors can get 5%+ from government debt, the hurdle for putting money into volatile risk assets gets a lot higher. At the same time, a stronger dollar can tighten conditions further. Doesn't automatically mean BTC has to dump obviously. Crypto has ignored macro plenty of times for stretches. But I'm paying more attention to bond yields and the dollar now than I am to most daily crypto headlines. Curious what everyone here considers the most important macro indicator for crypto right now.

How do I manually keep High Beams on with new 2026-2027 Model 3 — I just got my new 2027 M3 today and it's wonderful! One thing I cannot figure out is how to keep high beams on manually. It says to hold the "headlights" icon on the steering wheel for 3 seconds, and that should toggle it on. But even though when I hold that Headlights icon for 3 seconds, I see the little circle icon filling up, but as soon as I release the button, the high beams turns off. I'm not talking about Adaptive Headlights, which is automatic. I mean is there a way to manually keep the high beams on without having to keep the button continually pressed. None of the Tesla employees I asked at pickup knew how to make this work. I've looked on youtube/google and there's nothing there that explains this either. Is this intended, or is it a defect in my M3 software...I think I only have 24 hours to file any defects for servicing, so I'm hoping to use the Reddit hivemind here to help! Thank you all.

About the cyber crime — found a suspicious PDF named README-5 on my Windows laptop. It contains a Bitcoin extortion demand of $1,500 and claims that someone accessed my laptop and accounts, obtained some of my credentials, installed remote-access malware, and recorded private activity. The document threatens to send the alleged recordings to my contacts if I don't pay. I have not paid or contacted the person. I disconnected the laptop from the Internet and preserved the PDF and screenshots. Some credentials mentioned in the document appeared to correspond to my accounts, so I have started changing my passwords and securing my accounts. $GOOG barely moved today, and that’s the point. Model performance and intelligence density alone no longer create market value. The market has moved from rewarding AI capability to demanding AI utility, distribution, monetization and execution. Google may have one of the strongest moats in AI, but long silences between releases, fragmented communication, frequent product decommissioning and an unclear product narrative create an execution discount. A new model is no longer a catalyst by itself. Capital eventually follows products that become habits, habits that become revenue, and revenue that compounds.

MIG switch SD card help same specs not working — I purchased a MIG switch yesterday off Facebook marketplace, it came with the Sandisk with a couple games already installed and working. UK banks are testing tokenized deposits. Is this what real adoption actually looks like? — Saw that Lloyds, NatWest, Barclays and HSBC were involved in tests of tokenized bank deposits in the UK. What caught my attention is that this isn't really banks suddenly becoming crypto bros lol. They're basically taking some of the useful parts of blockchain - programmable money, faster settlement, tokenization, while keeping normal bank deposits underneath. I think this might actually be how blockchain goes mainstream. Not everyone buying BTC or holding USDC. Just regular people using financial products that happen to run partly on blockchain and not even caring about it. Kinda boring compared to the old “crypto will replace banks” narrative, but probably much more realistic.

IPod 5th Gen build problems booting — Hey reddit. I'm having a lot of trouble finishing my iPod build and i'm not sure where I went wrong. I'm using an iFlash uDual with a new 3800mah battery in a boxy pixel build shell. When i started the build I used a Sandisk Extreme but it never worked for more than a short time. I would use it for about 40 minutes or so and it would just cut abruptly and go back to the "Connect to iTunes to restore the iPod" white screen, but iTunes wouldn't recognise the iPod. After looking it up for a while I found a lot of people not recommending using a Sandisk card because they are unstable so I got a Samsung card to replace and test to see if it would work. iTunes still doesn't recognise my iPod but now it just gives me a X\_X iPod screen and not even the connect to restore message. I formatted the two SD cards as Fat32 and made them the primary partition so I don't know why it wont be recognised when connected to my iPod. I don't know where I made a mis…

Completely agree with this take on Saylor & $MSTR I have been consulting founders and CEOs on their messaging for a decade. 99.9% of the time, they hedge. They want their cake and to eat it too. As a result, they struggle to commit in either direction—and then both endeavors suffer. I got introduced to Saylor buying bitcoin in 2020. And the only thing I needed to know about the company’s “strategy” was that he, unlike nearly every founder/CEO I know, didn’t hedge. He let go of his software business (it still exists, but it’s now a tiny vertical) and went all-in on a Bitcoin treasury business. I can’t overstate how difficult this type of behavior is for entrepreneurs, let alone someone who has a billion-dollar company to “lose.” Absolute savage. And true A-level founder DNA 🧬

SD Cards (again) Sandisk, Kingston, Lexar. Best price currently for 128gb is around 1300php? — I looked at some independent tests where this guy is running sd cards stress tests constantly since years, and he found Sandisk is actually not that great even if many think it is. But Kingston and Lexar are better. (PNY, Delkin Devices and Samsung also, but could not find them on Shopee by official sellers. Lexar btw is only on Shopee since a few months, but its a mall already so probably legit. Reviews look fine.). So right now it seems you could get 2 128GB Cards with default coupons for about 2600 PHP from Kingston. Thats with a 15% 700 php discount already applied. Is this like the best offer right now? It seems with Sandisk you could them slightly cheaper, but not by much. I had a 20% off 1 hour timer flash on the Sandisk ones earlier so might even come with a 25% off sometimes. Meta chart — I don't know if you guys noticed, but Meta chart has VERY well-defined support and resistance. It's rare to see such a clean chart. Recently it was rejected by both the green resistance line and the red trend line, which is quite bearish IMO. However, if it could consistently get above those two lines, then it's very bullish and provides a good entry point (with stop loss at the green line) IMO. What do you guys think?

Sandisk Extreme SSD use to mount fine — I've got two Sandisk Extreme SSDs. 3 weeks ago they both mounted automatically when plugged into my Pixel 9 and worked exactly as expected. I could open the Files app, read/write content, no problem. Today, neither mounts automatically. Files app shows nothing. The Sandisk app pops up a message when either drive is inserted via USB-C so the hardware is detected. I've already spent hours reading search results. I've enabled developer mode. Enabled USB debug. Nothing indicates a problem. What the hell Google? Anyone else experience this?

QQQ Day Scalp — Caught a clean #QQQ reversal/reclaim this afternoon. After the sharp selloff from \~$744, I waited for price to reject the lows, establish a higher low, and begin reclaiming short-term structure rather than trying to catch the bottom. Entered 1 Oct. 5 $738 call at $8.94 as momentum shifted back toward buyers. QQQ continued the recovery into the prior intraday resistance/liquidity area around $743.30–$743.50, where I exited at $9.48. The trade lasted about 16 minutes for a 6% gain (+$54). Simple execution: location → rejection → displacement → reclaim → take profit into resistance. 📈🎯
