Hope next iPads matches the battery capacity of the iPhone Duo — It’s incredible that after 16 years, the iPad has still the same battery capacity as the first one in 2010, with only a 10-hour benchmark. Now with the iPhone Duo, it is clear that Apple can optimize that. They did optimize it on the Mac after the M1 chip, with up to 20 hours. In fact all Apple products have improved their battery capacity throughout the years , except for the iPad. If they could make it 20 hours on next-gen, that would be amazing.

My god, I wasn't prepared for how expensive self-publishing could be! — Came out with my first book this year, and it's been fun! Have had a decent amount of success, and made more money than I ever did before (at least for a couple of months). I knew some of the basic costs going in. A few hundred to a thousand for a cover, money for proofs, a small marketing budget. That was all fine. Then I joined TikTok, saw how much better the margins could be, and started looking into doing some print runs. Ever tried to get quote for a 1k print run of 500-page hardcover with colored pages? Being quoted almost $20k consistently. Which I obviously don't have. Employer arguing scheduled drill dates that were split. — I attempted to contact ESGR, but they’re closed for the day. Google keeps giving a bit of a run around. I was scheduled for Drill in September. These drill dates landed on civilian employment days. My employer usually doesn’t have any questions about the dates. I split the drill dates. Employer is saying I have to burn vacation time for those days I was scheduled for drill, but subsequently didn’t drill due to splitting for other dates. Any input would be appreciated!

I am happy — Moved to my new place yesterday and, after some ordeals to get moved and settled, today was the best day since my diagnosis. My voices were loving throughout the day and there's just so much serenity in living alone. I love the Nothing design language, but every Nothing-inspired notes app I've tried so far was either a nice-looking concept or too basic in features to use every day. Nothing (excuse the pun) came close to Google Keep for me, so I decided to build one that could. It's called Nowt and it's available on the Play Store (link below). Nowt follows the Nothing look. Funny to me: if you invested 10k$ initially and then 500$ every month into $NVDA or $PLTR since Jan 2021, you actually would've made the same money. Witcher 3 Sourcing Post — Hey guys, Wanted to source the common solutions that have been working for folks for Witcher 3 remastered today. If I have any of this wrong, please correct me, that's the point of this post. I can only speak for AMD. And I'm using GOG version through Heroic on Bazzite. 1. I've used successfully launched on Cachy, GE, and Experimental. 2. RT and FSR frame gen do not work on any of them. It'll let you turn RT on but then it just defaults back to off again. 3. I've seen multiple people report that DLSS is not working for NVIDIA 4. If you updated from the previous version, you may have to fully uninstall/reinstall. 5. VRR flicker is present on any any frame rate except 60hz. 6. My frame pacing seems busted, it almost looks like frame gen is on even though it's set to off and can't actually be turned on. I can get 60fps native AA with RT off, so perfectly playable.

I would like to know if there's anything I need to add in between my headphones and my laptop to ensure that these headphones don't have any issues. I built my first product: a simple way to see your PnL on tokenized stocks — Hi everyone! This is the first thing I've ever shipped, and I'd really appreciate your thoughts on it. A bit of background: you can now hold stocks as crypto tokens, like NVIDIA as NVDAx or Tesla as TSLAx, on Solana, Ethereum and BNB Chain. I bought a few, and my wallet showed the balance and a basic record of each purchase, but no PnL. Nothing added it up into "you're up 4% on NVIDIA", and that was the one thing I really wanted to see. So I built Multfolio. You paste a public wallet address, and it works out your PnL for each position from the buys it can find on-chain.
