$MU $NVDA $SOXL I’m bullish heading into Micron’s earnings. Memory remains one of my favorite areas in semiconductors. The thesis is straightforward: supply and demand fundamentals remain supportive, earnings growth is already showing up in the numbers, and long-term contracts provide a solid foundation for future growth. A spike in oil prices or a one-day pullback in tech stocks doesn’t invalidate that thesis. The key event is Micron’s September 30 earnings report. I’ll be watching order fulfillment, whether gross margins can hold up, and whether the company can raise its guidance for the next quarter. As long as these core metrics show no meaningful deterioration, the memory rally still has a solid foundation to move higher. Recommendations — I’m looking for a new 100% layout wireless keyboard as my Logitech one has died on one side. I’ve looked into NuPhy (too expensive and most are 96%) and Keychron (if included in the upcoming Amazon prime sale) and BeQuiet! mount keyboards. GM continuing the California my first EV rebate — Sorry if this is the wrong sub for this still new to the EV thing and not quite sure what sub to post in. I’m looking to get my first EV for a commuter car and I’m strongly considering a 27 bolt. A big reason I’m considering the bolt is because of the price. In addition California has rolled out the My First Ev program that offers a $3,500 rebate. The program is scheduled to run through 2030. I noticed on a dealership website that the Chevy incentive of the program ends on 9/30. And I know Tesla has already burned through their budget allotment for the program in a little over a month. Did Chevy already burn through their allotment? Or is it just standard sales tactic to get a pressured sale and the incentive will run again next month?

Going after location data brokers is like busting street dealers? — I used AI recently to get some of my location data, off the internet not a solution or anything but it really made it a lot harder for people to track me for now.. The thing is I shouldn't have to do that why are Apple and other companies allowed to let this data be sold to others in the first place? Surely that would fix the issue of the problem? It seems like an effort to target data brokers.

What I find interesting is how complicated it is to model out BB future earnings as it continues its transition to being a broadly adopted critical infrastructure software stock. We know it has a royalty revenue system where each product / unit sold using its QNX software means x amount of revenue but what we dont know or is hard to model is exactly how much or how this will ramp. Licensing is lumpy and secure communications is relatively stable. looks like $SPY and $QQQ held strong at the bottom and attempting to fill the gap but keep in mind the size of the gap and lack of alignment across the board to drive this move back up… $NVDA really seems to be catching a nice move up in the premarket , $AMD seems to be recovering nicely $AAPL might need some more consolidation before it makes that move higher , $MSFT now a bit weaker and could also need more consolidation for the move higher I was looking at Friday . if the market does go in that direction $IWM seems to be bottoming out but below that low or even below 280 I would watch it if the market shows weakness .

$NVDA have increased their current share buyback program by $150B to $235B, making it the largest ever share buyback authorization in corporate history (the previous highest was $110B from $AAPL). CEO Jensen Huang emphasized that this buyback program is backed by massive cash generation from the shift to AI and accelerated computing, which enables them to invest in these new technologies and return cash to shareholders. He also said that it reflects their confidence in the long-term opportunity ahead. The shares are trading 2.1% higher pre-market on the back of this news.

Help with deciding what monitors! — Hello all, I am currently stuck between choosing how to go with my setup. I currently am running a quest 3 with link cable but feel the quality just isn’t there. I can get 90fps unless the track is demanding or lots of cars. I also usually only stick to Iracing. My specs will be listed below. I am deciding between 49” G9, 59” G9 ( on sale ), LG 45”, or triples. If someone could help me with what my gpu and cpu will run and not run that would be great. Also space is not a factor. Here’s what I’m watching: $SNDK, $LITE and $DELL are the highest-conviction setups right now — but I’m not chasing. I only want them on a clean pullback into my zones. There are still mixed signals under the surface though. The indexes may be near ATHs, but breadth isn’t giving me enough confirmation to treat semis as a broad risk-on signal. $AMD remains a no-chase for me, while $INTC and $PLTR are still conflicted. $MU reports Wednesday after the close, which adds another layer of risk for portfolio since I’m still in. I’m avoiding fresh swing exposure there, and keeping in mind that memory names like $SNDK could move with it. Bottom line: no clean pullback into my levels = no trade. I think $META and $GOOG and others are gonna go on a crazy spending spree with the agent usage giveaways for the next several quarters. There is no way around this. They have to attempt to capture market share and create a switching cost. This could be a tailwind for the semi supply chain again and a headwind for Meta and Google earnings for the next year or so. There is not going to be immediate ROI to this as advertising and agentic tasks can’t easily coexist without eroding trust. The average consumer is not going yo pay for agentic subscriptions at this moment. We are far away from that. Investors are not going to like the spending this is going to take. That way, $MSFT with its enterprise customers is much better off and can monetize much more easily.

Can Stocks and Yields Rise at the Same Time? — Stocks could be trying to break out, even as borrowing costs surge. Last week saw both the Nasdaq-100 and the 10-year Treasury yield jump. The Nasdaq rose 3.3 percent and briefly hit a new all-time high. Treasury yields reached 5.23 percent, their loftiest reading since 2007. In earlier times, those charts moved in opposite directions. Why are they both rising? A few things seem to be happening. First, earnings continue to accelerate. Wall Street sees profits up 29.1 percent in the third quarter. That's almost a full percentage point higher than the estimate a month ago, according to FactSet. Second, economic growth is strengthening. Third, the most important growth stocks are less vulnerable to high interest rates. Finally, investors are excited about agentic AI. Good time to buy an EV? — Interested to know if people think now (q4 2026) is a good time to buy an EV or not? Considering things like the available payment plans, different makes/models and the general development of battery technology. I would be an EV beginner but having looked around recently there are some nice options (Tesla m3/Y or BYD Seal) on well marketed payment plans and I see more and more of them. Coinbase reporting cbETH income on 1099-MISC, but there is no income — My 2025 1099-MISC shows "other income." I think this is an incorrect reporting because I don't receive staking rewards from cbETH. The price of cbETH just increases as Coinbase itself stakes, and I don't receive any additional cbETH from staking. My total cbETH is 100% exactly the quantity that shows in my purchases. On their Tax page, it shows that I'm consistently receiving "CBETH income earned" Anyone know about this? Should I just file my taxes and ignore the 1099-MISC or ?
